2011 Needs and Giving Opportunities
Kiawa is about 2 miles down the mountain from our Boma School Project. Due to rugged terrain, it is not possible to get a drilling rig to this village of 6,000 people. Presently, women carry 5 gallon containers of water on their heads following a very steep path. Installing a large water tank and an electric pump at the school well would allow us to utilize plastic pipe and gravity to fill a tank in Kiawa.
