SEA Partners is dedicated to serving and educating children in South Sudan and to improve their lives through education, food security, clean water, healthcare and evangelism.
Faith Learning Centre began in 2006 and currently educates children grades K-7 with 150 students attending classes regularly. The intent is to add an additional grade each year until reaching the eighth grade.
Food security is critical to the Murle people as they have been at war for over 50 years. A vibrant agricultural program is needed to ensure the Murle families in Boma have enough food to eat.
In order to provide clean water for the inhabitants of Boma, SEA Partners drilled four new water wells. These wells are the lifeblood of the people and need periodic maintenance to ensure continued operation.
While there is a hospital in Lower Boma, there is a need for medical care to the people in Upper Boma. It is often difficult for people from Upper Boma to travel down the mountain to receive medical care. SEA Partners volunteers come to Boma to give first aid and health care to the school children and locals.
Shortly after the inception of the project, SEA Partners helped local Christians plant a new church. SEA Partners staff and volunteers train local pastors in theology, doctrine, reconciliation and other church functions.
